Cozy Weather and Cozy Mysteries: A Perfect Pairing

It’s a great time to find a new book, or even better, a new series. With the cooler weather and the longer evenings descending upon us, what better way to enjoy your time than with a great set of characters and a brand new story to make you smile.

I’ve been thinking about other series that I am looking forward to starting this fall. Some of the ones I’ve been considering are The Sherlock Holmes Bookshop Series, by Vicky Delany, the Cait Morgan Series by Cathy Ace, and Her Royal Spyness Series by Rhys Bowen. These are just a few of the series on my to read list. Although, I think the one I’m starting next is Saralyn Richard’s Murder in the One Percent, which looks like a classic mystery that I could stay up all night reading.

What about you, dear readers? Any thoughts or suggestions about what you are reading now or looking forward to starting? I must keep this note short because I’ve got the oven on and I’m just about to warm up some apples with a little brown sugar, cinnamon, and oats. Apple crumble without the high-calorie pie crust makes for one tasty guilt-free morning treat. Give it a try and let me know what you think.

Can you tell I love the autumn season? Cozy sweaters, roaring fires, and fabulous mysteries all make for one perfect fall season. I’ve been waiting for this…

Cheers all,

Lynn
